Andrea L. Stankiewicz

With our deepest regrets, we announce the passing of Andrea L. Stankiewicz, 75, of Philadelphia, on April 29, 2022. Andrea took her last breaths surrounded by her loved ones. She is predeceased by her mother Sophie and father Adolph and is survived by her sister Cynthia, her nephew Charles, and nieces: Kim, Kelly, and Robyn. She is also survived by 7 great nieces and nephews: Charles, Melissa, Chelsea, Gregory, Nicholas, Tori, and Jaxson. Of those, she was also blessed with two “very” great nieces Mackenzie and Willow. She had a lasting impact on each one of our lives and will be greatly missed by all.

On February 21, 1947, the world welcomed Andrea, that day the world became a little brighter. Andrea lived a life full of warmth, happiness, kindness, and love. She succeeded in helping patients during her 45 years working as a medical secretary in ophthalmology. Some of her most cherished times were spent with her nieces and nephew as they grew up. She enjoyed walking through the fall leaves and taking long drives to the shops in Lancaster. Shopping was one of her favorite past times, whether at the Cherry Hill Mall, on QVC, or browsing the large aisles of Sam’s club. Her generous heart showed through in all that she did for the family and friends around her, often giving most of her shopping finds away. She enjoyed a good mystery book, watching classical movies, and horror films. She was a quilting enthusiast with a knack for crafting and kept an impressive stamp collection over the years.

Andrea was a fun person to talk to and was an even better listener. Being a follower of astrology, she was a true Pisces: intuitive, sensitive, empathetic, compassionate, self-sacrificing, and unassuming. The epitome of a perfect best friend. Anyone who knew Andrea would describe her as an angel on earth and now she is our angel in Heaven. Our memories of Andrea will be held near and dear forever.

No services will take place as Andrea requested, but we appreciate your prayers and support during this difficult time.
