Angela L. Carpino

Angela L. Carpino, lovingly known as “Angel,” passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 46. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Angel was a woman of fire and softness, with a personality that left a mark wherever she went.

She was a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a mother, and though her journey was far from easy, it was filled with moments of humor, honesty, and raw humanity. Angel struggled with addiction for much of her life, a battle she faced with grit and vulnerability. Her story was not perfect, but it was real—and it was hers.

Angela is survived by her mother, Lisa M. Costello, her Father Joseph M. Carpino, her siblings, Lisamarie Carpino, Robert Costello Jr (Heather), and Joseph Carpino (Jill) and her dear children Breann Carpino (Anthony) , Krista Bolli, Kassidy Schreiber, Paige Schreiber, Alisia Swan, and Shawny Swan as well as 8 nieces and a nephew. Angel was preceded in death by her grandparents, June Mellon (Joseph) and Edith McClain (Richard).

She will be remembered by those who knew the real her—the girl who could make you laugh even when things were hard, who gave nicknames, shared secrets, and had a soft spot for people others might overlook.

Her life was complex, her love sometimes distant, but her spirit was unforgettable.

A gathering to honor Angel’s life will be held on Saturday April 26, 2025 at St Andrew’s In The Field Church, 500 Somerton Ave Philadelphia, PA 19116 at 1:00pm, where those who knew her best can share stories, memories, and moments of grace.

She is finally at peace.
