Anthony Patrick Joyce

Anthony passed away on February 17, 2020 at the age of 79. Anthony was born February 22, 1940 in the county of Kent, England. He moved to the United States in May 1962. Anthony was an electrician by trade, but loved to build. He was known to many as the renaissance man. Anthony was very compassionate and full of knowledge. He loved to write poetry and play the flute, known to him as “The Irish Whistle”.
He was the former husband of the late Geraldine Frances Joyce. Father of Sean, Colleen, Kelly and Noel. Brother of Margaret McGuire; Anthony was predeceased by his brothers Michael and John Joyce and his sister Eileen. Anthony has seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial gathering Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. followed by his mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Katherine of Sienna’s Church, 9700 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114. Interment will be private.
