Audrey Asroff (Bam), 92, of Holland Village passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024. She cared deeply for her family and friends, as well as her dogs Peanut and Lady, and she will be forever missed. Audrey married "the boy next door", the late Joseph Asroff, in 1951 and they were happily married for 42 years until his death in 1993. She worked for the Philadelphia School District for 25 years.
Audrey is survived by her two daughters, Nicki Hughes and her husband John, and Jodi Gibson and her husband Scott, as well as 2 grandchildren: Dennis Kilfeather (MaryKate) and Kori Best (Alec). She was also a loving great-grandmother to 4 great-grandchildren: Declan, Fiona, Clark and Remi.
Anyone who knew Audrey, knew she was always dressed to the nines. Her outfit for each day had to match her shoes, socks, and jewelry, along with a matching wristwatch. Never a hair out of place, perfect nails and perfect makeup. Audrey was also a talented seamstress as well as a wonderful baker, sharing her baked goods with everyone she knew. She was also a quite the target shooter.
