Barbara Wichterman

Barbara Wichterman 86 years old passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026.

She was born and raised in Philadelphia to the late Joseph Rutkowki and Bertha Ungehajer,

Barbara was predeceased by her loving husband, Harry Wichterman, as well as her cherished daughter, Linda. She is survived by her three beloved children: Jackie Bilotta (the late Tom), Lori Braccia (Guy), and Peter (Annemarie), as well as her seven grandchildren: Nicole (Bill), Evan (Cassandra), Keith (Sarah), Rachael, Dylan, Taylor, and Halle. Barbara was also an adored great-grandmother to her two great-grandchildren, Lauralynn and Rocco.

Spending time with family was the most important aspect of Barbara’s life. She never missed a family event or activity. Whether it was a grandchild’s game, dance recital, theatre show, birthday or graduation, she was always there supporting her family. She cherished being part of her children’s and grandchildren’s lives and took great pride in their accomplishments, loving them unconditionally every step of the way. Barbara was full of life, energy, and stamina, routinely visiting her favorite amusements parks Disney World and Universal Studios, where she could be found riding rollercoasters up until the age of 80. When not attending one of her grandchildren’s events or riding thrill rides, Barbara also loved to cook and bake, famous for her cheese pie, apple pie and chrusciki cookies. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas, enjoying the lights, decorations, events, and traditions of the holiday season. Barbara was loved by her entire family and will be deeply missed.
