Bernice “Bunny” Clark, 71 of Woodbury New Jersey, formerly of Philadelphia passed away on January 7,2026, surrounded by love and memories gathered over a full and vibrant life.
Born on November 12,1954 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Bunny was the daughter of Claire and Joseph Clark and is survived by her cherished sister, Patricia MacFarlane (Tim) and many lifetime friends.
The Bun was a proud graduate of Holy Innocents 68, Little Flower high school for girls 72, and Northeastern Hospital School of Nursing 75.
A nurse by vocation, Bunny devoted her career to caring for others with compassion, humor, and determination. Even after facing serious health challenges, she continued to give back- Volunteering in Philadelphia schools and at the VA always finding ways to support her community. She also became a member of LAOH 87 in Port Richmond where she found a new set of good friends and worthwhile activities.
Bunny's life was filled with energy and curiosity. She was an avid softball, bowling, golf, and dart enthusiast throughout her life. She loved the Savannah Bananas, cheered for her Phillies and had a lifelong appreciation for Jane Austin and World War II history. Her adventures took her across the world, sometimes exploring alone, often alongside dear friends, or her sister. A resilient spirit, Bunny faced her long illness with grace and humor, inspiring everyone who knew her.
She fought for her health every day and in ways most people will never understand. She was a warrior.
Please join Bunny's family on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136, for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating her life. A service for her will begin at 4:00 pm, followed by time for refreshments and food, until 6:00pm. Bunny's family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrance, and support throughout the evening.
