Betty Jane Verdon

Betty Jane (nee Losco) Verdon "BJ" of Huntingdon Valley, formerly of Philadelphia, passed peacefully on October 26th at St. Joseph’s Manor with her loved ones by her side. She was 85.

BJ is a 1959 graduate of Frankford High School in Philadelphia where she later served as the Alumni Treasurer. BJ was the devoted wife of the late Lawrence W. Verdon. She is survived by three daughters Arleen Wilson of Willow Grove, Lisa Verdon of Philadelphia, Sherri Verdon of Kayenta, A.Z., a son, Rob Verdon of Abington; two siblings, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A celebration of BJ’s life will be held on October 30th at St. Hilary’s in Rydal, PA., where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Visitation hour is from 9:15 to 10:15 am with a mass to follow at 10:30.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in BJ's name to Holy Redeemer Health System at St. Joseph's Manor would be greatly appreciated.
