Bruce H. Cherry

Bruce H. Cherry, a lifelong resident of Philadelphia, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023. He was 62 years old. He is predeceased by his parents, Honey Prager and Leonard Cherry. Bruce is survived by his two sons, Brandon and Andrew, his wife, Stacey Cherry, his brother Mark Cherry, and his sister Tina Sepkowitz. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews, Ian, Alexis, Scott, and Lauren, and his future daughter in law, Maria. 
 
Bruce enjoyed spending time with his two sons, watching sports, and always tried to put a smile on anyone's face he would interact with. He always liked to start the day off by sending a motivational quote to his family in the morning. He had a heart of gold and he constantly spread love to his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all of us. 
 
Funeral services and interment are private at the request of Bruce's family.

I knew Bruce for about a year or so, he became my closest friend. He love to make people laugh and had a gentle and kind heart, he helped me so much to get my life back in order. I'm blessed to have known the real Bruce, he talked about his family a lot and loved them very deeply. His South Philly friends will always remember him and miss him dearly! One day at a time brother, we never stopped trying, know you can finally be at peace. I'm deeply sorry to the family of Bruce I hope you guys find peace also, God bless , Ronnie Romeo

Bruce, we really loved watching Eagles games together. I remember when Charlie slept over and I told you he slept with me like a husband. May the four winds blow you safely home.
