Carol A. Schacht

Carol A. Schacht of Langhorne Manor, passed away on May 3rd, 2023 with her loving family by her side. 

Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, and after a short time living in Philadelphia, she became a resident of Bucks County. Carol originally worked for Gould National Batteries where she met her future husband of 53 years, Dale Schacht. While raising two sons, Brandon and Michael, she went on to attend Bucks County Community College and eventually worked for many years as an insurance claims analyst. Carol enjoyed being a long-time member of the Langhorne Presbyterian Church, where she spent several years as a Sunday School teacher.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, her father William, her mother Lena, her sister, Virginia, and her niece Terry. She is survived by her sons, her daughter-in-law Wendy, her sister Barbara, her brother-in-law Tom, cousins, nephews, and the joys of her life, grandchildren Gavin and Elaina. 

A service will be held for family and friends at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA on Wednesday, May 24th. Those attending should arrive promptly at 12:45 pm. A celebration of life and a light lunch will be held immediately following the service at Langhorne Presbyterian Church, 125 East Gillam Avenue, in Langhorne.

In lieu of flowers, a charitable contribution made in her memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
