Caroline Ellen Perfidio

Mrs. Caroline Ellen Perfidio, of Kissimmee, Florida, passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on August 14, 2020 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Carol Merrill (John) in Feasterville-Trevose, where she had lived since 2016.
Caroline Hallermeier was born to Caroline and Joseph Hallermeier. She graduated from Frankford High School in 1956, and worked at Sam's restaurant, where she met her late husband Thomas Perfidio.
Carol and Tom were married in 1956 and remained in Philadelphia until they retired to Kissimmee, Florida in 1995. Carol was a faithful Christian who attended church/volunteered regularly and raised her children in the faith. She was involved in local politics, acting as Democrat Ward Committeewoman until 1986, when she became a dedicated Republican for the remainder of her life. She was affectionately known as "the warden" and was a friend and mother figure to many neighborhood children. She had a zest for life, and loved the Florida sunshine.
She devoted her life to raising her large family with her husband Tom, who predeceased her in 2011. She is survived by her daughter and five sons: Carol (John) Merrill; Rich (Kate); Tommy (Sharon); George; Danny; Jim (Debbie). She is also survived by her devoted sister Rose Hallermeier Brietenstine (Alan) of Hudson, Florida, 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date.
