Claude S. Hayes

Passed on 02/21/2018 peacefully in his sleep. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dolores Barth Hayes, his three children Mary, Michelle, and Christopher, his daughter-in-law Kelly, his son-in-law Murdoch & granddaughter Destiny. Claude is also survived by many siblings, nephews and nieces. He was a hard worker all his life, only wanting the best for his children so they could have a better life. He enjoyed the simple things like his country music, puzzles, redoing the house, and growing his vegetables and plants. He grew up in South Carolina. Even though he moved up North to Philadelphia, PA with his brother Jim, he was always a Southerner. Always told us he was never a Yankee but a Rebel. He drove us crazy most of the time but was dearly loved. He was very proud of us and always there when we needed him. His only regret was not getting to see his southern family that often. We will see each other up in heaven one day. For now, RIP Dad. You will never be forgotten. Love always and forever. May God greet you in his arms!
