Age: 59 of Drexel Hill, PA
Affectionately known as Connie, passed away after a brief illness at the age of 59 on January 7, 2019. Connie was born in Siracusa, Sicily, Italy to Silvio and Paola Mulé. She relocated to the Philadelphia area with her two beloved sons in 1984 and resided in Drexel Hill, PA for the past 27 years. Connie worked as a manicurist for 25 years and was a licensed esthetician. She later devoted her life to caring for her loving parents, husband, family, and beloved dog, Leo. A true homemaker and provider, Connie was an outstanding cook, known for her delicious Italian dishes. She was happiest in her beautiful kitchen, surrounded by loving family and friends. Nothing brought her more joy than hosting holiday gatherings. Connie was a beautiful soul with an infectious laugh, a love of life, and a warm heart. She had the unique ability to make anyone she met feel welcomed and loved. In addition to her passion for cooking, she had a love for decorating and fashion, and always knew where to find all the sales. Always a devoted wife, daughter, mother, mother-in-law, and friend, Connie had a way of comforting those around her and providing the world’s best advice.
Connie is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 29 years, Harry Bordley, two sons Alessandro (Alex) Bianca (Leigh Ann) and Davide Bianca (Lauren), and mother Paola Mulé. Also to mourn her memory is Connie’s brother, Gaspar (Reno) Mulé (Nuccia), nephews Daniele, Roberto, and Silvio Mulé, her special cousins, Dario Cortese and family and Salvatore Cortese and family, as well as, aunts Tita (Marcello) and Tina, all of Sicily, Italy. She will also be sincerely missed by her dear Aunt Kathy & Uncle Billy of Destin, FL, as well as members of the Sanders, Bordley, and Orner families. In addition to family, Connie is survived by an amazing group of true friends that were considered family and did everything together. She will also be greatly missed by her 5 granddogs who will terribly miss being spoiled by her.
Connie will be reunited in Heaven with her father whom she adored, Silvio Mulé, her cherished brother, Roberto Mulé, and her 4-legged son, Leo.
