Daniel was a loving husband and father, a devout catholic, current member of the St. Francis Cabrini Church and past member of St. Joseph the Worker Church. He missed St. Joe’s after it closed in 2014, partly because he could walk to church to save on gas, since it was literally in his backyard.

He additionally spent time working as an auto mechanic part time at Sheldon’s Esso Station, also located in his backyard. He enjoyed working on, and cussing at cars in his driveway for family and friends.
His life revolved around his family – it was all the little things he did for his family (he always thought of friends as family) – that made his life big and wonderful.
Sunday Mass - Cards – Polkas -Smoked Ham & Kielbasa – Coffee & Beer – Blackberry Picking for Moms Wonderful Pies– Playing the Numbers (He always had one that was going to hit) – Homemade soups – Jerkey – More Cards. His life centered around filling his unfinished family room with family and friends and making all feel welcome and at ease.
