David E. Osborn age 69, of Levittown on October 23, 2017. He was the beloved son of the late Ed and Irene Osborn. He was the cherished brother of Edward (JoAnne) and Kenneth (Gina) Osborn. David was the loving uncle of Maureen, Caitlin and Samantha.
David was a 1966 graduate of Northeast Catholic High School. He then went on to DJ school in Washington DC. He was a manager for the Record Museum in Trenton NJ. He earned an associates degree in business from Philadelphia Community College. He was an employee of Bell Atlantic and Verizon.
David was an avid fisherman and loved crabbing. Which was followed by inventing interesting recipes for his “catch of the day.†No one could compete with his secret recipe for pick and peel shrimp.
David loved to travel he often went to North Carolina with “The Crowdâ€, to Spring Training for the Phillies in Florida with his Godson Shawn, up the mountains to Phil and Mary’s house, however, his favorite trip was to Ireland.
He loved all types of music but especially Motown. He also loved movies, anything from Star Wars to Lady and the Tramp.
David was a founding member of “The Crowd.†This is a group of thirty plus friends who have been together since high school.
David was very proud to be known simply as “Uncle†to his three loving nieces. Uncle enjoyed attending numerous dance recitals, school play productions and anything else he could do to support his nieces.
David was a loving, caring brother and friend to many who will be greatly missed.
Please join the Osborn family from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 29th at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for David's viewing and a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating David’s life. The memorial tribute service will begin at 5:00 p.m. with time for refreshments and fellowship immediately afterwards from around 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. where David’s family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support.
