DeAnna H. Holley

In Memorial of DeAnna Hazel Holley

DeAnna Hazel Holley, born to Tonia Dee Adams and Derek John Holley on the 15th of March 1999 in York, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in her home Friday, June 7, 2019. DeAnna was a beautiful woman with a bright smile and a huge heart. She could light up a dark room by walking into it. Her musical talents were a treasure to witness because she would pour her heart and soul into every performance. Her passion and strong work ethic made her a pleasure to work with.

She had a hidden skill that few knew about, she could transform everyday pains and hardships into amazing poetry with her pen and notepad. She used her poems to cope through hard times in her life. DeAnna treated people how she wanted to be treated; sometimes even when they didn’t deserve it. She was a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on to many people through hard times. She will be sorely missed by every person whose life she touched.

In January of 2017, DeAnna became an early graduate of York County School of Technology. She was a technically-advanced information technology student. She had knowledge in computer networking and cybersecurity. She was a member of the Air Force Association’s CyberPatriot program and won 2nd in the State in 2016 along with her close friends whom she deeply loved and cherished. She was a member of the Technology Student Association and obtained State level entry for Website Design in 2013-2014.

DeAnna also enjoyed playing softball with her dear friends in both the Junior and Varsity Leagues of York County School of Technology. She had so many astounding qualities that it’s hard to narrow it down to just a few, but she was known by many to be a kind, loving person who always had something to say that could bring a smile to your face.

DeAnna will be dearly missed by the surviving members of her family: her older sister, Destiny Holley and her boyfriend, Jeffrey Rendeiro; her two older brothers, Devan Holley and Dylan Holley; her two younger brothers, Tommy Armstrong and Brandtly Armstrong; her mother, Tonia Adams; and her father and step-mother, Derek Holley and Jessie Green.
