Diane Wrubel

Diane Wrubel 81 years old of Philadelphia, PA. passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 28^th 2022. Diane was born on April 23^rd 1941. Wife of the late Robert Wrubel, Diane is survived by her beloved children, Kimberly Cantagallo (Calvert), Franklin Calvert, Kevin Calvert, Patricia Miller (Calvert), and Suzanne Smith (Calvert), as well as her 9 adored grandchildren, and her 17 cherished great grandchildren.

“Lady Di” as she was affectionately known, was a loyal and wonderful friend to those she met along her journey. She always stood up for what she believed was right.  She was a supervisor in the Family Division of Common Pleas Court, having retired in 2005. Diane’s family was what mattered most. Her love for them was immeasurable, and she made all of the holidays with them magical. She was the rock of her family and aside from being their loving mother, she was also their gourmet cook that brought so many people together. Diane will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Please join the Wrubel family after 6:00 pm on Tuesday June 7^th 2022, at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Diane’s life. There will be time for refreshments and fellowship until 9:00 pm, where Diane’s family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support.
