Dolores L. Cafagna

Dolores L. Cafagna, ‘MomMom’, 87, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2022, in North Cape May, New Jersey, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother/great grandmother. Dolores was born on March 26, 1935 in Philadelphia to Margaret and Andre Marrone. She was the youngest of seven siblings, Vera, Bernard, Viola, Florence, Rita, and Henry.  

Married to the late John Cafagna for 54 years, she is survived by her daughter Anita Rowe, wife of John, her two grandchildren, Nicholas (Ellen) and Lindsay Rowe,her great grandchildren Ginny and Ryan Rowe, and numerous nieces and nephews. MomMom was an exceptional cook, always dressed impeccably, and stood out with her beautiful white hair. She was kind, loving and generous.

Family and friends are invited to share in the celebration of Dolores’ life on Saturday June 11, 2022 at 9 am, at Maternity BVM Church located at 9220 Old Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19115. The visitation will be followed by mass at 10 am. Interment private. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to St Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
