Dolores Deck

Dolores Deck (nee Morales) 83 years old of Philadelphia passed away surrounded by her beloved family on Thursday January 6th 2022. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Deck, Sr,. Dolores is survived by her loving children, Frank Deck, Jr. (Jessie Deck), Dolly Verdon (Rob Verdon), and Greg Deck (Denise Deck), as well as her cherished sister Mary Christine, and her adored grandchildren, Ashley Deck, Bob Verdon, Joe Verdon, and John Deck.

Dolores’ story starts with her unwavering faith and her love of family, always. She had an insatiable appetite for knowledge on any level, and a drive to understand the life experiences of those around her. She loved nature, plants, flowers, cooking, books, birds, and of course her First Lady Pansy. Her biggest accomplishments were her three children, her four grandchildren, and acquiring her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts at the age of 66. Even in failing health she always comforted others and listened to their stories with purpose and a smile on her face. Whether you met her in person or knew her through family, you loved her. Dolores will be greatly missed by all.

Family and Friends are invited to honor Dolores’ life on Friday January 14th 2022 at St Katherine of Sienna Church 9700 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA. 19114. A memorial visitation for Dolores will begin at 9:00 AM with her memorial mass at 10:00 AM, burial will follow to Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd. Bensalem, PA 19020.
