Dolores R. Noble

Dolores Noble, aged 91, passed away peacefully on February 25th, 2026, in Hatboro, PA. Up until the end, Dolores maintained her kindness, grace, and love of family and friends.

Dolores was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be deeply missed. Survivors include her 4 children, David Hefele, Douglas Hefele, Cheryl (Hefele) Wille, and Timothy Hefele; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Dolores was born on February 17, 1935, in Allentown, PA, along with her twin brother and only sibling, Dale Cullin. Dolores and Dale were the children of Ruth Cullin and raised by Ruth and David Cullin.

Dolores married her first husband, Joe Hefele, in Allentown. After several moves and the arrival of children, Dolores and Joe ended up in Glenside, PA where Dolores raised the children as a stay-at-home mom. Dolores and Joe divorced, and Dolores moved with the 4-children to the 9 Hearthstone Drive house outside of Reading, PA. Dolores stayed in the house on Hearthstone Drive for nearly 3 decades where she worked as a special education teacher’s aide in the Reading School District while raising the 4 children by herself. During that time, she saw her kids grow, graduate high school, and move on to college and careers. Also, while living on Hearthstone Drive, Dolores married her second husband, Richard (Dick) Noble. Dick was a loving and devoted husband up until his death in 2015.

Dolores enjoyed vacations to the Jersey shore and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She was a sharp card player and enjoyed a good game of bridge. Most of Dolores’ activities, however, revolved around her family and friends in the Reading and Philadelphia areas. She was a steady ever-present beacon of support, warmth, and love for her children. Her grandchildren all knew and loved Gram and Pop Noble, and the great grandchildren were a joy to Gram in her later days.

Dolores Noble was a saint. She instinctively knew and embraced what was right and good. She was a steadfast provider and strong protector of her family. She was a kind and gentle soul who always had a smile and good word for others. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
