Dorothy J. Moody

Dorothy J. Moody, lovingly known as Aunt Dot, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, at 63 years old. She was full of kindness, generosity, and warmth, and always had a beautiful smile.

Dorothy lived a meaningful life, relying on her strength, resilience, and family. She grew up in Northeast Philadelphia (Mayfair section). She was predeceased by her late father, Joseph Moody Sr., late mother, Dorothy J. Moody and late brother, Stephen Moody. Dorothy is survived by her brother, Joseph Moody Jr, and her sister-in-law, Mary Moody. She is also survived by two nephews, Joseph Moody III and Robert Heim-Moody, for whom she loves like her own children.

Please join the Moody family on Monday, December 01, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136, for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Dorothy's life. A service for her will begin at 7:00 pm, until 8:00pm. Dorothy's family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrance, and support throughout the evening.
