Edward C. Austin

It is with heavy hearts, we regret to inform you of the sudden passing of Edward C. Austin. He passed away on August 11, 2022 at 67 years old. He was born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and raised in Woodlyn, Pennsylvania.

He was a supportive and loving father and is survived by his two children Eddie Austin 36, and Gina Austin 34. Son of Clarence (Bud) and Harriet (Conard). Brother of Arnold (Kathy), Donald (Sandy), John, June and many nieces and nephews.

He was an avid sports fan; especially The Phillies. He was a music lover from all things jazz to heavy metal. Ed was a talented musician whether it be playing the drums or bass guitar. You could always find him listening to one of his favorite old records. He had quite the record collection.

Please join the Austin family Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 from 3:00-6:00 pm for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Ed’s life. Refreshments will be served.
