Edward George Fiorentino

 

Eddie was born on September 2, 1950 in Philadelphia. He  passed away peacefully on October 12, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband to his lovely bride, Karen(Wilusz), for 50 years and was the proud father of four children: Eddie (Floris), Eric, Kira Prendergast (Bill), and Zachary (Theresa). He was the beloved Pop to six grandchildren: Billy, Connor, Gavin, Julia, Max, and Dylan, along with three granddogs.  

 

He left behind a very large extended family that included many brothers, sisters, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nephews, nieces, Godchildren, along with many close friends.

 

Eddie was an Army veteran who served his country honorably in Vietnam and was a long time employee of Rohm and Haas. He was a family man who enjoyed camping in the mountains, sitting on the beach, or just watching a game with the boys. He also spent many days fishing with family and friends. 

 

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 9:30 am to 11 am, at St. John Cantius Church, located at 4400 Thompson St. Philadelphia, PA 19137. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Edward at 11 am. If you’re so inclined, in lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to the Mother of Mercy House located at 709 E.
