Edward James Johnson

Edward James Johnson of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully at home on January 13, 2026. He was 79 years old. Ed was the son of the late Ralph and Mary Johnson (Nee Smotrys).

Ed is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bonnie Johnson (Nee Hartman), his sons Michael (Tina), and Stephen (Jackie), as well as 5 Grandchildren: Claire, Ben, Luke, Nolan, and Carter.

He was an avid fan of old horror movies and Ivy League college basketball.

He bravely served in the US Army from 1965 to 1967.
