Edward Mullen

Edward Mullen, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 15th 2024 at Jefferson Aria Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He resided in St. Mary's long term care facility prior to his passing.

Edward (Eddie) was born March 27,1944 to Catherine and James Mullen in Philadelphia ,PA. He worked at Liftschultz Fast Freight before retiring.

He is survived by his sisters Rosemary Ferrara (nee Mullen) and Eileen Chapko (nee Mullen) and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, James and Catherine, brothers and sisters James Mullen, Catherine DeRosa (nee Mullen), Rita Masusock (nee Mullen), Joseph Mullen, Donald Mullen, Thomas Mullen, John (Jack) Mullen, and Francis Mullen. 

Eddie was loved and known by many, he would often be found lounging on the corner of Anne and Edgemont and bartending at Fasone's. He enjoyed playing pool and cards. Edward will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

There will be a memorial mass for Eddie on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 10:00 am at Nativity BVM Church, 2535 E Allegheny Ave, Philadelphia, PA  19134.
