Elaine Marks

Elaine Marks, 85, passed away on December 18, 2024, in Philadelphia, PA. She was born on January 14, 1939. 

Elaine was a graduate of Girls High School of Philadelphia. Throughout her life, she was known for her happy, social nature, and she was deeply loved as a friend, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Ron. She is survived by her loving children, Vicki and Gene; son-in-law, Scott; daughter-in-law, Angela; grandchildren, Rachael (husband David), Alexis, Sam (wife Jessie), Josh, Leah; and great-grandchildren, Mirabelle and Lucy. 

Elaine's hobbies included travel, reading, and spending quality time with her friends and family, which brought her great joy and fulfillment. 

Memorial services for Elaine were held privately. 

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages charitable contributions to Reading Allowed (www.readingallowed.org), reflecting Elaine's lifelong passion for reading and literacy.
