Elsie Mae Pierson Mosher Barrett

Elsie Mae Barrett of Philadelphia passed away on April 23, 2025. She was 89 years old.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert C. Barrett to whom she was married for 41 years and her youngest brother, Joel Earnest Pierson (Choom) USA Sgt. Major Ret. of Thailand. She was the daughter of James Hugh and Alina Irene Pierson.

She also raised 5 children: Margaret Mosher Sundling (Bob), Marshall (Moe) Evan Mosher, Jr. (Donna), Kathleen Mosher, Erik Lee Mosher (Denise) and was predeceased by Jennie Mosher Mann.

There are also 3 step-children who she dearly loved: David Barrett (Christine), Derek Barrett (Betty Ellen) and VeraCatherine Zanders (Markus)

There are also seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren with whom we will share our memories, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Elsie had many hobbies and interests. Gardening (before apartment life began), crafting, rubber-stamping, hand-made greeting cards and some of the most beautiful quilts you could imagine. She was an avid reader before her vision started to fail her and she had a lovely soprano singing voice which she often used during her church-going years and would often break into song in the middle of a conversation. She and her husband worshipped the Lord on a daily basis.
