Eugene J. Geiger, Sr.

Eugene Geiger, 84, son of the late Francis Aloysuis Geiger and Margaret Marie Geiger (Von Der Schoer), died peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, especially his wife Virginia "Ginny" who held his hand throughout. He is also survived by his five children Gene (Jamie), Stephen, Eric (Christine), Jeanette (Brian Courduff) and Tim (Patti-Anne ), his brother Edward, as well as his 10 grandchildren, Brianna, Eric, Ceili’-ann, Caitlin, Ryan, Brian, Paige, Keegan, Mackenzie, and Shane.

Gene was born on October 3,1940 and he was enlisted in the US Army from 1960-1965. He was also a Teamster for over 40 years with Locals 115 and 107. He was known as a unique and one-of-a-kind person. Gene loved his family and enjoyed spending his free time taking trips to the casino, taking walks along the river with his wife Ginny, telling “Dad jokes,” and spending time with his grandchildren.

We embrace and will always remember his kindness and compassion. He was a deeply caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Please join our family on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 10:30 am at Saint Albert the Great Church, 212 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 for a funeral mass celebrating Gene’s life.
