Evelyn Fleming

Evelyn Fleming, 71, of Philadelphia passed away at home surrounded by her family on December 27, 2022. Evelyn, known by many as Sue, fought a courageous fight for one year against pancreatic cancer. Her optimism and strength during her battle were remarkable.

Evelyn is predeceased by her mother Senta Fobare and her sister Sandra Joseph. Evelyn is survived by her daughter Suzanne Givens, grandchildren Jordan Givens and Hannah Neal, nephew David Fobare, his wife Chrissy and great niece, Leah Fobare. Evelyn will be dearly missed by her family, by her lifelong friend Sue Anderson and many friends she worked with at PCI who were like family, affectionately named “Sue’s crew”, as well as friends from the Northeast Older Adult Day Center.

She worked as a Line Leader at PCI Pharma Services for 30 years. After she retired, she then joined the Northeast Older Adult Day Center. She enjoyed shopping, eating out, being with friends and having family time. She will be remembered most for speaking her mind and her no nonsense attitude. Her outlook on life was “it is what it is”.

As per Evelyn’s request, services will be private.
