Evelyn R. Glenn

Evelyn Rose Glenn (nee Farrell) of the Philadelphia Protestant Home passed away peacefully on March 21, 2024.  She was 96 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,  Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late Harry Glenn, daughter of the late Eugene and Lulu Farrell (Landherr), and sister of the late Jean Kelly.

Evelyn had a strong faith in God and was an active member of the Rhawnhurst Presbyterian Church for many years serving as a deacon and cooking meals for the community at various church functions.  She was a proud member of the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies, as well as the Far Northeast Senior Citizens, Philadelphia.

Evelyn enjoyed traveling with friends on numerous cruises and vacations to the Jersey shore.  She was a talented seamstress and loved making dresses for herself and draperies for her home.  She also loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends.

Evelyn is survived by her loving and devoted children, Dianne Mehlmann (Stephen) of Cinnaminson, NJ, and Mark Glenn (Kathy) of Jamison, PA. She is also survived by her loving grandson, Matthew Glenn (Sally).

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend her memorial service on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church which is located at 1401 Meetinghouse Road, Warminster, PA 18974.  Visitation will be from 9 am to 10 a.m., and the memorial service will begin at 10 a.m.

Interment will be private.
