Frances D. Shaffer

Frances Dusel Shaffer, formerly known as Ann Barbara (Brennan) Kelly, 83 of Collingdale, PA passed away on June 15, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Yeadon, PA: she was the only daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Brennan.

Frances was the loving mother of Thomas Kelly, John (Mary Ellen) Kelly Jr., Sister Constance Kelly, OP, AnnMarie (Richard) Welch, Bernard (Jennifer) Kelly and Richard Kelly; cherished grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents, first husband John (Jack) Kelly, Sr and her second husband Lewis Shaffer.

Frances will be remembered at the 8:00 AM mass at Saint Joseph’s Church, 500 Woodlawn Avenue, Collingdale, PA on Monday, June 29, 2020. Due to COVID 19 no services will be held at this time. Interment will be held privately by the family.
