Francis "Frank" Wermuth

Francis “Frank” Wermuth, age 65, of Philadelphia, PA passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 12, 2022.  A graduate of Frankford High School, Philadelphia, PA and attended Hussian School of Art where he studied design and illustration. 

Frank had a passion and natural talent for painting, sketching and photography.  His creative emphasis on abstract artwork was uniquely enduring.  In his own words, “I am and always will be a painter of a subjective observation of my own reality."

Son of the late Francis and Margaret Wermuth (Blackburn).  He is survived by eight brothers and sisters, Mary Ellen Weimar (Walt), Stephen Wermuth (Kathy), Robert Wermuth (Dolores), John Wermuth, Margaret Hanratty (Patrick), Suzanne Gaun (Joseph), Matthew Wermuth (Laurie) and Christopher Wermuth.  Also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, Walter (Robin), Michael, Katie, Christy, Michael (Lisa),  Erin (Matt), Joey, Sammi, Morgan, Genna and the late Colleen.   Also survived by his close friend, Chalie Manning.
