Frank Delesandro, 61, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2022. Frank was the best friend and loving husband to his beloved wife of 39 years Debbie (née Short), and a proud father to his two sons Thomas (Christine) and Christopher (Jill). He was immensely proud to be “Pop” to his two grandchildren Ava and Nicholas. Son of the late Frank Delesandro and Virginia “Ginny” Delesandro (née Cush); brother of Edward Delesandro (Sue) and Mary Rose Jordan (Bill); and brother-in-law of Edward Short (Kathy). Frank is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Frank was a longtime employee of the Philadelphia Naval Ship Yard as a sheet metal fabricator and was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. Frank was a kind, generous man who never failed to lend a helping hand to family and friends.

Please join the Delesandro family after 12:00 pm Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Frank’s life. The memorial tribute service will begin promptly at 1:00 with time for refreshments and fellowship immediately afterwards, from around 1:15 until 3:45 pm, where Frank’s wife and family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support.
