Gary J. Smith

Gary John Smith of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025. Gary was born in Philadelphia on April 30,1951. 

Gary was a devoted husband, father, brother, Pop Pop and friend. Gary was known as a kind and gentle man. Gary was a musician and an artist. He loved animals and had many happy years with beloved pets. He spent many years as a warehouse manager and retired out to spend his last working years in golf course maintenance. 

Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Patricia (Thompson), daughter, Noel, grandsons; Stephen, Kevin and John Klatcher, and his sister, Beth Allen (Bleam). He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

A service will be held on October 10, 2025 at 11:00am at Saint James Lutheran Church, 5185 Castor Ave., Philadelphia Pa 19124.
