Genady Naisteter

Genady Naisteter, 71, of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 9, 2026.

Genady was born on July 27, 1955, in Lvov, Ukraine, to Leonid and Sima Naisteter. He grew up in Ukraine before later living in Israel. He was gifted in many ways, and that range showed up throughout his life.

He built his career in appliance service, eventually running the service department for a small business. He was, as one person who knew him put it, "the most knowledgeable guy in Philadelphia."

More than anything, Genady was passionate about cooking and serving others. Whether it was a home-cooked meal or a small act of hospitality, he found real meaning in giving to the people around him, and it was one of the clearest expressions of who he was.

He is survived by his children, Michal Naisteter and Jon Naisteter, whom he shared with his former wife, Paulina Naisteter; his partner, Zoya Kuznetsova, and her daughter, Kat Lunoe, whom he cared for as family for many years; and his grandchildren, Hanna Rodriguez and Ellie Rodriguez.

A service for Genady will not be held.
