George H. Brook, Jr.

George H. Brook, Jr. passed away suddenly on April 23, 2023.  George was a kind, caring, dedicated hospice nurse at VITAS Healthcare. He took great pride in his work. We find solace in choosing to believe that he is finally at peace. He was smart, a voracious reader, lover of movies and live performances, a wonderful writer and artist, imaginative, kind, compassionate, gentle, funny and could always make a person smile. He loved to travel and see new places.

 

He is predeceased by his parents George and Erma Brook.  He is survived by his sister, Laura Neubauer (Ralph), nephew Kurt (Mackenzie) and niece Kimberly. George will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

You are invited to celebrate George’s life on Monday, May 1, 2023 starting at 9:30 a.m. The memorial tribute service will begin promptly at 10:30 am at Saint David’s Lutheran Church, 9169 Academy Road, Philadelphia, PA 19114.
