George Alexander Richardson, III

George Alexander Richardson, III, of Bensalem, PA suddenly passed away at home on January 5, 2022 at the age of 65.

Better known as "Byrd" or "Dickie" to his family and friends, had a heart of gold and would do everything and anything for his friends and family.

He loved the outdoors, fishing was his most favorite activity, but he also loved target shooting and sharing hunting stories with his nephews and watching the Phillies. There just aren't enough words to describe how amazing he was and how much he will be missed.

He is survived by his daughter Casey Lyons (Grant); brother James Richardson (Donna) and nephews James II, Sean, Andrew, William and Joseph Richardson; grandchildren Zoelyn Adams (Dylan), Olivia and Korbyn Clarke.

George was preceded in death by his mother Joan Patricia Richardson (nee Kuney), his brothers Jack Richardson and Tom Richardson and his wife Pattie Marie Richardson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Women's Humane Society in Bensalem, PA.

Please join the Richardson family after 2:00 pm Sunday, January 16th, 2022 at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating George’s life. I am hoping that wherever he is, he and Pattie, their son and all their pets are having a great time. Casey, i am so sad that you lost you dad.

He and Pattie were our only witnesses for our official self administered wedding, and were kind enough to allow us to have our reception in their lovely yard next to mine. I will always miss sitting out on our patio drinking and laughing for hours on end.

Byrd was a good friend & the best boss I have known. I introduced him to his wife Pat and had many good times. I can remember when Casey was about 5 yrs & George was so proud to take her to Disney. He inlarged a photo to 4'×4, of Casey in the pool. "Happy Dad"
