George R. Steinheiser, died August 18, 2025. He is survived by his sons Erik and Zachary (wife Erica). He was the beloved partner of Donnamarie Ganz Kates, and son of Kathleen Boyle and the late Richard Steinheiser, the brother of Kathleen, Mary(Wayne), Patrick(Nancy) and Joseph (wife Jamie). He had many nieces and nephews.

George grew up in Olney and graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School. He joined the US Air Force and became a Nuclear Weapons Specialist. He traveled the USA, enjoying the beautiful sites along the way. He loved singing karaoke, shooting pool and making things with his hands. In 2014 he joined the band Big Whiskey, as the lead singer.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 4th at 11:30am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road Newtown, PA 18940, with Air Force Honors. Please arrive to the cemetery 15 minutes prior to the service time.
