Harry F. Abate at the age of 70 passed away after a strong fought battle with cancer on March 6, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones.
Harry was always the life of the party! Anywhere Harry went he knew somebody if not everyone. “His larger than life” personality could capture a room. His memory will live on through everyone who met and loved him.
Please join the Abate family on Saturday, March16, 2024 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Harry's life. Family sharing for Harry will begin at 4:00 pm with time for refreshments and fellowship afterwards, until 6:00 pm. His family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support throughout the evening.
Harry was born and raised in South Philly on April 13, 1953 to the late Joseph and Anna Mary Abate. He was a proud father to John, Christopher (Syndi) and loving Poppy to Ryker, Axel, Maverick. Survived by his brother Joseph (Bernadette) and sister Maryann Abate. He will be missed dearly by his cousins, nieces, and nephews.
