Howard passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and family. He is survived by his wife, Maureen Rendall-Bobb; his son, Dr. Raymond Bobb (Glenna); his sister Janice Hoffman. He was predeceased by his daughter, Susan T. Bobb and son, Randy Bobb (Carlene). Howard is survived by his grandchildren and many neices and nephews.
Howard was born in Philadelphia. He graduated from Olney High. After graduating, he enlisted in the Navy and was assigned to the USS FURSE as a machinist. After leaving the Navy, he joined the Philadelphia Police Department. He worked in various departments, but one of his favorite assignments was K-9 with his partner, Ballou, the Rottweiler.
Howard attended Temple where he recieved his bachelor and master's and law degree. He retired in 1984 as a Staff Inspector and opened his law practice.
Howard was a super handy-man who could build and fix anything and always available to help anyone, 24-7. He loved golfing with his police buddies, playing handball, jogging, going to the gym and card games. He loved life and all his family gatherings.
Please join the Bobb family after 3:00 pm Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Howard’s life. The memorial tribute service will begin promptly at 3:30 with time for refreshments and fellowship immediately afterwards, where Howard’s wife and family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support.
