Jamail G. Favors

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jamail G. Favors on August 23, 2024.

Jamail Favors was born May 15, 1983 the youngest son of Vaughn a.k.a. (Dee) Favors and William Durham in Wilmington Delaware.

Dee felt truly blessed for her new addition. Upon Jamail's home arrival big brother Jawan at the age of one was startled, as to say what is this. But as time went on they learned to embrace and love one another. Jamail was educated in the public-school system and graduated from Englewood High Class of 2001 located in Jacksonville, Florida.

Jamail loved to draw and was a collector of superhero characters way into adulthood.

Jamail was employed at Penn State Industries as a Controller for several years. His absence will be deeply felt.

Born with a heart full of compassion, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. But his greatest accomplishment is daughter JASMINE with Cachet and whom he still loved.

Jamail was a hard worker, devoted father, loving son, brother, uncle, godson, and friend. His life was marked by love, and an unwavering commitment to his family. And that big smile and contagious laugh, gets us every time.

On Friday, August 23, 2024 Jamail was called home. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Yvonne Loatman. He's survived by his loving daughter, Jasmine, Mother Vaughn Favors, Brother Jawan Favors. Father William Durham, Step brother William, Step Sisters Shyanne, Sharaen, Jasmine Mack, and godmother Gwen.

He'll always be in our hearts.

Please join Jamail's family on Saturday September 14, 2024 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Jamail's life. A service and family sharing for him will begin at 4:00 pm, followed by time for refreshments and food. His family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrance, and support throughout the evening.
