Passed away on July 4, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Judith Arleth. Devoted father of James M. Arleth, Patricia A. Hunter (Shane), John C. Arleth (Omaira), and Joseph P. Arleth (Lauren). Dear brother of Mary Higgins (Bud), Joseph Arleth (Diane), Robert Arleth, and ‘older sister’ Agnes Melnick (Steve). Loving Pop-Pop of Cory, Joey, Kyle, Sean Patrick, Carlos, Callee, and Mac.

Jim’s viewing and funeral mass will be held on Friday July 10, 2026 at St. Christopher’s Church, 13301 Proctor Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116. His visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with his funeral mass beginning at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Jim’s favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (please no longer send donations to The Human Fund, as they are currently being investigated for fraudulent activity).
