Jeanette R. Yost, 82, of Bridesburg, Philadelphia, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 2, 2025. Born on April 8, 1943 in the Kensington section of Philadelphia to Edward L. Dilliplane and Mildred (nee Horlacher), Jeanette was a devoted, wife, mother, and grandmother, whose warmth touched all who knew her.

Jeanette lived in Kensington until 1989 when she moved to Bridesburg where she resided until her passing. She married her beloved husband, Joseph A. Yost for 52 years, and together they built a life filled with love. Jeanette was renowned for her delicious soups a gift she shared with family and friends. She loved dressing up, dining out and enjoying lively trips to the casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where her vibrant spirit shone.

She survived by her loving husband, Joseph, her children, Barbara (wife of Stacy Layton) and Joseph Jr. and her cherished grandchildren: Joseph III, Jacob, Rebecca, Adelaide, and Rainer. She was predeceased by her parents.

A memorial service will be held in Bridesburg on May 12, 2025 at 11 AM at St. John Cantious Church, 4415 Almond St, Philadelphia, PA 19137.
