Jeffrey William "Billy" Tyson

Jeffrey William "Billy" Tyson passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on December 26, 1956, Billy was known for his infectious laughter and deep love for those around him - he loved his people more than words could describe. It is fitting to highlight that his mother proudly referred to him as “a dog with a bone,” a testament to his life and love for his people.

He was an avid reader, often seen with a "good" book in hand, and he found great joy at the beach, especially in Stone Harbor, NJ, which he considered his happy place.

Billy is survived by his beloved wife Ann, his loving son Brian, as well as his two brothers, Bob (Jeanne), Butch (Susan), and his sister, Bunny (Chris). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom will greatly miss him.

Please join the Tyson family on Thursday March 6, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136, for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Billy's life. Family sharing for him will begin at 7:00 pm, followed by time for refreshments and food, until 9:00pm. His family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrance, and support throughout the evening. Please dress casually or in your favorite "dress sweats".
