Joan LaSalvia

Joan Kathleen LaSalvia (Nee Wasikowski) passed away peacefully on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the age of 87, following  a long battle with lung disease. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the devoted daughter of Kathleen and Francis Wasikowski and the sister of Francis and Joseph. Joan was married to the love of her life, Frank, for 64 wonderful years.

Joan spent most of her married life in Holland, Pennsylvania, where she lovingly raised her six children and built a home filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Francis James; her six children, MaryLynn (Scott), Cynthia (Sean), Francis (Tamie), Joan (Rick), James (Kim), and Katie; thirteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Joan enjoyed traveling, creating homemade crafts, hosting parties, and bowling. Purple was her favorite color. She especially enjoyed spending time at Parx Casino, where a winning streak always brought a smile to her face. Above all, Joan treasured her family and the time she spent with those she loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joan's service at Saint John Bosco Church, 215 E. County Line Road, Warminster, PA, on Thursday, November 12, 2026. Calling hours will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by her funeral Mass.
