Joan E. McLeish

Joan E. McLeish passed away on August 10th, 2026; beloved daughter of Thelma and Edward Wazgis who preceded her. Joan was a devoted mother of, and survived by Suzanne (Randall) Woods, Justin (Christy) Hoffmann, and Jason (Keri) Hoffmann; also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. 

Joan worked as a secretary for Good Shepard Lutheran Church, and as the administrative assistant to the President and CEO of Impact Services until her retirement. Joan enjoyed going to church, reading novels, and dancing to rock and roll music, while in high school she danced on the original American Bandstand TV show filmed in Philadelphia. Joan was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia and a fan of all things Philadelphian, and patriotic.
