She also is survived by her 3 sons- Mike (Peggy), Jerry (Theresa) and Eric, and her older brother- Ed. She was predeceased by her eldest brother- Phil. Joan was also adored by her 5 grandchildren- Mikey, Joey, Dee, Jason, and Erin, and her first great grandchild- Benny.
A lifelong Philadelphia resident, Joan served two local businesses- Goldenbergs Peanut Chews and later Boscovs of Neshaminy Mall. Joan’s #1 priority was her family and she loved nothing more than spending time with them. She also enjoyed gardening, an occasional cosmo, and above all avoiding spicy foods. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Please join the Stales family on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Joan's life. A service for Joan will begin at 7:00 pm and time for refreshments and fellowship afterwards, until 9:00 pm. Joan's family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support throughout the evening.
