Joan E. Thomas

Joan E. Thomas (Nee Vickery) passed away on February 12, 2025 at the age of 87.

Joan was the beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of Margaret ( the late John), the late George Jr. (Donna), Patricia, the late Joseph, Michelle (the late John). Joan was the dear grandmother of Joni (Keith), Michael (Amanda), Sean, Andrew, Marc, Kevin, John and great grandmother of five. Joan was the youngest of nine siblings and the last surviving sibling. Joan will be missed by her extended family including nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as longtime friends. 

Joan was a homemaker. She raised her children and was always there to help family and friends in need. Joan enjoyed vacations in the Poconos. She traveled with her sisters on many trips and enjoyed traveling with George and friends.

Please join the Thomas family on Friday February 21, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136, for a gathering of remembrance in honoring Joan's life. A life celebration service and family sharing for her will begin at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Shriners Hospital or your favorite charity in memory of Joan would be greatly appreciated.
