John Benner

John Benner passed away on September 3, 2023 at the age of 64.

Loving son of the late William and Mildred Benner, John was the beloved husband to Margaret Benner (nee Thomas), loving father to Joni (Keith) and John, as well as the beloved Poppy of Dean and Giovanna, loving brother to James (Ann), Michael (the late Trish), WynAnn (Pat), and Maureen. John is predeceased by his cherished brothers William and Robert. John will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and all that knew and loved him.

John was a longtime Roofer at Local 30. He always enjoyed muscle cars, and Philly's sports teams. He and his family spent many summer vacations at their home in the Pocono Mountains, and he loved vacationing in Florida.

He was so loved and will be missed dearly.

Please join the Benner family on Friday September 15, 2023 at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating John’s life. Family sharing for John will begin at 7:00 pm with time for refreshments and fellowship afterwards, until 9:00 pm. John’s family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support throughout the gathering.
