John "Jack" Bridges

John "Jack" Bridges, 61 went home to heaven on June 20, 2025.

Jack was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ and was a die hard Giants and Yankees fan. He moved to Upper Moreland, PA in 2006 after meeting his wife, Patty in Atlantic City, NJ, memorial day weekend in 2003. Jack used to joke how the hell did I end up in Eagles and Phillies country, but some how it worked.

Jack is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Patricia (Patty) Bridges (nee Bowdren). His stepchildren, Michael (Gabby) Snyder and Joey (Alani) Snyder and his father, John Bridges Sr. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Bridges (nee Collins). Jack is also survived by his sister, Dr. Laura Bridges DeStefano and brother in law Phil DeStefano, nephew Christian and niece Michelle, mother in law Maryann Bowdren, many more sisters and brother in laws. As well as many more nieces and nephews.

Jack enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved to travel and drive to Disney, our special place always asking a friend or family member to come along. Jack loved going to Fort Myers, FL and loved the shore and any place where he could drive.

He had a heart of gold and would always go out of his way to help a friend, family member or stranger in need.

Jack loved his dogs, Rudy, Belle and the late Barkley, they were his best friends.

He loved St. Jude and always gave up his St. Jude medal to a friend or stranger if they needed it more them him. Jack had a heavy heart, but a beautiful soul.

Jack loved life, loved to laugh (he had the best laugh) and loved his family till the end. He fought hard and will be greatly missed.
