John "Jack" G. Mager

“A life that touches others goes on forever”

Jack was born November 21, 1946, and passed away peacefully at the age of 76, on October 1, 2023. He was a longtime resident of Feasterville, PA and was the self-employed owner of Buxmont Home Improvement.

Jack was a 1964 graduate of Delhaas High School in Bristol, PA.  Additionally, while in high school, he attended Bucks County Tech School and studied building trades. After graduation, he went to work with Keil Contractors, a family owned business. With Keil Contractors he worked on projects such as the Neshaminy High School Stadium, which was all concrete and the first of its kind. From Construction, Jack ventured into the carpet and flooring arena, which led him to establishing Buxmont Home Improvement.

When he was not working, Jack loved playing golf, watching football, and listening to music. Music was in his blood. He was a self-taught drummer. His uncanny memory for song details, such as the artist and release date of the song in the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s, including one hit wonders, amazed all who knew him.

Jack is predeceased by his wife Carol Mager (Ware), a son Joseph Mager, his parents Margaret T Young (Keil) and Francis H Mager, a brother Robert W Mager and a sister Jeanne L Lebegern (Mager). He is survived by three sons, John Mager, James Mager and Randy Mager, three siblings, Lorraine E Cannon (Mager), Joanne L Haynes (Young), and Michael J Young. Collectively, Jack had 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life in Jack’s honor to be announced at a later date for close family members and friends.
